Report a bug

Bugs are managed on the sourceforge web site. If you found a bug in Biskit, please, help us to fix the problem by following these steps:

  1. Search for an existing bug -- a solution is perhaps already posted.

  2. Submit a new bug; (optionally, you may create a sourceforge login first).

  3. Please, describe the bug in detail!

    • Give your OS version, hardware platform (64 or 32 bit?), python version.

    • Try to narrow down the problem as much as possible.

    • Show us how to reproduce the bug.

      Optimal would be some lines of python code that work stand-alone or with data in the biskit/test folder, otherwise attach e.g. a PDB file that makes trouble.

    • Provide the complete error trace.

    • Can you suggest any workaround or patch?
